WINTER SQUASH
A harbinger of colder days, our Winter Squash lineup is now in. Delicata, Gray Kabocha, Red Sunshine Kabocha, Koginut, and Honeynut all arrived this week, each bringing their own unique flavor. Gray and Red Sunshine Kabocha have a drier flesh, dense with sweetness. The squat Koginut are smooth and silky, with notes of vanilla and citrus, while the petite Honeynut Squash is rich, with a deep orange flesh. Rounding out the list is Delicata, with a mild brown-sugar flavor and thin skins. More varieties are still to come as Fall gets underway.

JOY'S MIDNIGHT CHARD
Vivid and structured, Joy’s Midnight Chard is a standout in the transition between Summer and Fall. More tender than standard chard varieties, these striking leaves are supple enough to eat raw while still holding their texture beautifully when cooked. Selected from Red Beets and Spinach, Joy’s Midnight Chard takes on a mild earthiness, with little to no bitterness and a vegetal finish.
