Reporting to the FCO, this role would suit a seasoned proffesional who would enjoy the challenge of joining a fast-growing business.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Monthly management accounts preparation supervision
- Analysis of Variances and analysis
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- Variance analysis and KPI reviews
- Assist the CFO in the development and improvement of internal systems
- Overall supervision of all tax filings in the UK and abroad
ABOUT YOU
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures / US GAAP
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages - experience using
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication qualities
- Chartered accounting certification, or in the process of studying for a chartered accounting certification
- Very solid experience in Sage 50 and Quickbooks
- Experience working in an inventory-based business/industry
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a Management Accounts or equivalent position
- Analytical mind, strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving
- ACCA qualified or very nearly qualified or qualified accountant in your country
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Work well under pressure with tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humour
- French, Italian or Spanish language an advantage
