Customer Account Manager

Full time, based in our Miami office.

Natoora Miami is entering a dynamic phase of growth in the region. At this pivotal moment, we are looking for a motivated professional to join our agile sales team.
ABOUT THE JOB

We seek a passionate, personable and analytically-minded Customer Account Manager to join our close-knit and dynamic team, based in Miami. Some sales experience, and a genuine connection to the Miami food industry and restaurant scene will be crucial to this role.

The role will have the primary responsibility of performing sales, growing existing accounts, and mastering Natoora's customer service. Some daily hands-on work with order preparation, QC, and packaging will also be required.

Reporting to our Regional Manager, with additional direction from the sales team, you will represent Natoora. Self-reliance and professionalism are paramount and the ability to work fluidly with operations, brand and sales teams will be key to meeting the challenges as we continue to grow Natoora Miami.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and improving relationships with existing customers. You will need to be comfortable talking about produce in busy kitchens with even busier chefs.
  • Growing customer average baskets and weekly spends
  • Updating the kitchens on produce coming in and out of season.
  • Visiting kitchens all over Miami Dade, inspiring chefs with our produce (The role requires driving and a vehicle).
  • You might hold a training session for front of house staff on how we source our produce or you might just arrive at a restaurant with one perfect unforgettable pear. Whatever you’re doing you’ll need to be a great ambassador for what Natoora does.
  • Overseeing customer orders as well as helping to manage customer expectations.
  • Be the ‘Eyes-on-the-ground’ for the Buying Team.
  • Support Natoora’s Finance team in maintaining financial health of accounts.

Our customers are very demanding; we need to be able to supply a service to match their expectations. Resolving Customer issues as quickly as possible will be key. Chefs are short of time and we want them to have the confidence in our ability to solve their problems, whatever the time of day.

ABOUT YOU
  • Have second to none relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and situations.
  • Availability to help customers out of office hours.
  • Enjoy working in an agile, flexible working context.
  • Have creative problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, with Excel and G Suite experience a bonus.
  • Demonstrate a passion for food, fresh produce, our ethos and the restaurants we supply.
  • Have (or quickly develop) a strong connection to the local restaurant scene.
