The Perfect Peach
“A peach might not seem like much, but I think it says something about the world… This peach, well, it's a bit of a miracle. It needs a future. If we keep choosing it, eating it, growing it, and valuing it, then it might very well still have one."
In this short film, follow our founder Franco Fubini as he travels to the sun-dappled orchards of Caserta to meet with Domenico, the grower behind our extraordinary Greta White Peach.
Here, beneath the shaded canopy of the trees, he retraces the steps that led to the fruit that started it all, the ‘Perfect Peach’ that has become emblematic of our story.

As they slice open a sun-blushed Greta, freshly picked from the bough of a tree, brilliant streaks of deep crimson come into view.
“From the veins, it seems as if it is painted,” says Domenico, whose family have been growing peaches there for three generations.
“He knows every inch of this land,” says Franco, explaining that knowledge, timing, and care passed down through generations, is exactly what makes the Greta unlike any other.
Because something this precious is always worth returning to.

Stories
See allWe exist to fix the food system.
People are more cut off from the origins of their food than ever. This makes flavour, nutrition and farming practices that protect the planet, almost impossible to find.
By working directly with growers, we create a more sustainable way forward for farming. By giving everyone the tools to understand the power of our food choices, we empower everybody to become drivers of change.
Now is the time for action. Join the food system revolution.
Go beyond four seasons
Each fruit and vegetable has its own season, with subtle shifts which happen every day. Follow their microseasons to unlock flavour at every stage.
WHAT’S IN SEASON?

We know the name of the people behind everything we source. Recognise their growing artistry to find out exactly where your food comes from (and why that matters).
MEET THE GROWERS
Make your diet diverse
Our growers work with varieties chosen for quality and nutrition, not yield. By selecting their crops you keep heritage seeds in play, add to ecosystem biodiversity and preserve unique flavours.
