SALES MANAGER

We're looking for a passionate, personable, commercially and analytically minded Sales Manager, to join our dynamic team in Paris.


ABOUT THE JOB

You will lead our Customer Account Manager and Customer Service team. Working closely with the individuals, you will coach them to improve key KPIs across their portfolios and help them motivate customers to reach deeper into Natoora’s product range. Key responsibilities, amongst others, will include creating category campaigns and leading projects while ensuring that team members are delivering to time schedules, as well as developing strategies for sales improvement with Senior Management.

Specifically, you will serve as the primary liaison between the Wholesale and Buying teams regarding product range, seasonal availability, pricing, stock levels, and more. Fostering productive relationships between members of the Wholesale and Buying teams, by creating forums and routines to address shared challenges, as well as setting and enforcing shared expectations, will be central to this role in the early days.

An understanding of Paris’ food system and underlying operations and decision making processes of restaurants is a big plus.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Supporting Customer Account Managers to improve their performance and reach targets.
  • Manage a small Client Services team.
  • Managing a portfolio of 125 customers proactively - keenly focusing on building relationships and increasing sales.
  • Understand the benefits of using data to inform decisions.
  • Create and manage Sales Campaigns that increase volumes on specific products and categories, collaborating with the other teams, tracking progress and pushing CAMs to maximize success.
  • Lead sales and training on category development.
  • Work closely with the Growth Manager in the implementation of special projects such as CRM.
  • Coordinating with the Buying, Pricing, and Natoora App teams on short and long term strategic projects to deliver solutions that meet customers’ needs, improve service and successfully deliver our mission.
  • Be a departmental stakeholder to proactively and collaboratively find solutions to short and medium term challenges. Lead weekly meetings with Buying, Operations and Service Delivery managers to work proactively and collaboratively to find solutions to challenges.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors and industry trends.
  • Being a knowledgeable and passionate public-facing representative of Natoora - educating our customers and showing why we do, and they should, care about changing the food system.
  • Supporting Senior Management with input on KPI’s, growth performance, staff recruitment, portfolio changes, and more.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have excellent knowledge of the Parisian restaurant industry.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, and to motivate employees to realise their full potential.
  • Passion for fresh produce and a clear understanding of seasonality, sustainability and farming.
  • At least 3 years of commercial experience in a relevant wholesale field with experience managing both large and key accounts.
  • Motivated by driving sales and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Highly organised, solution and detail - oriented.
  • You will proactively look for opportunities to increase sales within the company’s portfolio, and be confident in regularly analysing performance and taking action where necessary.
