Junior Night Buyer

Full time, based in our London office.

We’re looking for a bright, mission-driven Night Junior Buyer to join our team.
ABOUT THE JOB

You’ll bring your insight and passion to a group with unrivalled knowledge of fruit, vegetables, and specialist produce – all united by a shared commitment to building a radically better supply chain.
With at least one year of experience in the fresh food industry, you’ll have a sharp eye for product quality, warehouse processes and stock control.
For over fifteen years, we’ve been building a direct, transparent supply chain that connects more than 400 growers and producers across Europe. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in keeping that system running smoothly – using live data to drive availability, reduce waste, and cut non-conformities.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. Highly organised, full of initiative, and a confident communicator, you’ll energise those around you. Above all, you're motivated by a genuine desire to build a better food future.

Salary is up to 40K/per year depending on experience.
Working hours are 10:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Purchasing - Select and purchase bulk food products (e.g., fresh produce, dairy, frozen) directly from wholesale hubs like New Covent Garden Market.
  • Quality Control - Inspect the quality, freshness, and shelf-life of food items prior to purchase, rejecting goods that do not meet high standards.
  • Stock & Margin Control - Monitor inventory levels to anticipate demand, prevent waste, and maximize margins.
  • Logistics & Warehousing - Oversee the physical loading of vehicles, drive company transport.
  • Record Keeping - Update purchasing records, process delivery notes, and handle traceability and inventory documents
about you
  • At least 1 year experience as a Junior Buyer, ideally with exposure to fresh produce
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent Excel skills; confident using tech platforms and live data tools
  • A calm, decisive presence who thrives under pressure
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and naturally collaborative
  • Value honesty, openness, and team success over personal ego
  • Passionate about driving real change in the food system
PERKS
  • Breakfast and daily lunch made with the same seasonal produce we supply to top chefs
  • Seasonal premium fruit selection and ice creams available all day in the office
  • A stocked kitchen full of the ingredients we believe in
  • Significant discount on all Natoora produce
  • Your birthday off (after 6 months)

Our vision for a better food system is built on real human relationships and a diversity of experience, perspective and ideas. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from individuals, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

OUR PEOPLE

Voir tout

We exist to fix the food system.

People are more cut off from the origins of their food than ever. This makes flavour, nutrition and farming practices that protect the planet, almost impossible to find.

By working directly with growers, we create a more sustainable way forward for farming. By giving everyone the tools to understand the power of our food choices, we empower everybody to become drivers of change.

Now is the time for action. Join the food system revolution.

Go beyond four seasons

Each fruit and vegetable has its own season, with subtle shifts which happen every day. Follow their microseasons to unlock flavour at every stage.

Know where your food comes from

We know the name of the people behind everything we source. Recognise their growing artistry to find out exactly where your food comes from (and why that matters).

MEET THE GROWERS

Make your diet diverse

Our growers work with varieties chosen for quality and nutrition, not yield. By selecting their crops you keep heritage seeds in play, add to ecosystem biodiversity and preserve unique flavours.
