Global Financial Controller

Reporting to the FCO, this role would suit a seasoned proffesional who would enjoy the challenge of joining a fast-growing business.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Monthly management accounts preparation supervision
• Analysis of Variances and analysis
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Variance analysis and KPI reviews
• Assist the CFO in the development and improvement of internal systems
• Overall supervision of all tax filings in the UK and abroad

ABOUT YOU

• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures / US GAAP
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages - experience using
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent communication qualities
• Chartered accounting certification, or in the process of studying for a chartered accounting certification
• Very solid experience in Sage 50 and Quickbooks
• Experience working in an inventory-based business/industry
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a Management Accounts or equivalent position
• Analytical mind, strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving
• ACCA qualified or very nearly qualified or qualified accountant in your country
• Strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Work well under pressure with tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humour
• French, Italian or Spanish language an advantage
