About Natoora

We are a fast-growing company with a clear mission: to revolutionise the food system.

We deliver radically seasonal produce to over 1500 restaurants in London, New York and Paris - we count among our customers some of the world’s most forward-thinking chefs.

We also engage directly with home cooks through our Natoora delivery app, as well as in our stores and concessions, and online via Ocado, Waitrose and Monoprix. We are actively seeking to change the way people understand fresh produce by putting flavour and biodiversity back onto the shelves.

Be part of a more meaningful and responsible food system that preserves seed varieties, growing techniques & traditions that are threatened by modern industrial farming and supermarket culture.

About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced Packaging Developer who is deeply committed to sustainable solutions to help us drive our food system revolution forward.

A keen project manager with a nimble approach, you will develop and lead a clear and achievable roadmap for tackling packaging across Natoora’s multiple channels and regions.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, you will support the growth of our house-made Counter range as well as assisting our regional hubs with innovative, striking solutions for packing some of the most transparently sourced produce in the industry.

You will have experience working in an agile and changing environment, and are in your element when working flexibly, assuring a high quality packaging is developed intelligently.

From ideation to costing to ensuring that all packaging is fit for purpose, we are looking for an innovator: this is a chance to evolve our systems and processes as well as the packaging itself.

A knowledgeable technical partner, you will specialise in sustainability and have your finger on the pulse of new developments in the industry. This is a real opportunity to set a new standard within the food industry and put your mark on a growing, impact-driven brand. We want to make a real difference to how produce is packaged and make a meaningful shift towards circularity, and are not looking to greenwash.

An awareness of sustainable packaging options is critical to the success of this role, as is a real drive and ownership over delivering complex projects to a very high standard.

About you
  • A deep commitment to the environment and a passion for sustainable innovations that will genuinely have an impact
  • Min 5 years of packaging development experience
  • A strong project manager and a natural team player, you know how to rally key stakeholders around a project cross-functionally and across regions
  • A high level of understanding of packaging component developments, processes and materials to enable a high standard of execution and innovation
  • A fearless innovative streak, with the ability to create bespoke packing systems that are adapted to our produce and reflect the brand's ethos and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage and influence packaging component suppliers at each phase of the project, building solid relationships across regions
