Senior Business Developer

Full-time role, based in our Copenhagen office.

We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded Senior Business Developer to drive our commercial expansion across Copenhagen and the wider Nordic region.

This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping Natoora’s market strategy, building influential relationships, and securing the partnerships that will define our next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will act as a key commercial leader, identifying, pursuing and closing high-value opportunities across hospitality and foodservice to deliver strong, mission-aligned revenue. You will bring market intelligence into strategic planning, and set the pace for new business across the region.

This experienced role is ideal for someone deeply connected to the hospitality ecosystem, sharp and emotionally intelligent, and skilled at navigating both high-level conversations and the day-to-day realities of busy kitchens. We’re looking for someone commercially ambitious, hands-on, hungry and energised by building meaningful, long-lasting relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the development and execution of a robust, strategic new business pipeline across restaurants, hotels, caterers, canteens and any other potential channels.
  • Secure high-value accounts that drive long-term commercial impact, strengthening Natoora’s presence in Copenhagen.
  • Shape the growth strategy, informing market priorities, customer segmentation and revenue planning.
  • Own monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs, setting ambitious but realistic targets and tracking performance to ensure sustained, high-quality growth.
  • Leverage data and insights, supported by a Growth Manager, to evaluate performance, identify opportunities and refine commercial tactics.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, working closely with the Brand team to activate campaigns that open new doors and raise Natoora’s profile.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Buying and Account Management to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term account success.
  • Resolve challenges swiftly and constructively, ensuring the new business pipeline moves efficiently from prospect to onboarding to long-term growth.

ABOUT YOU

  • Deep knowledge of the Copenhagen hospitality industry, with experience spanning restaurants, hotels, canteens and catering; and the confidence to engage chefs and decision-makers with clarity and directness.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years in senior commercial, sales or business development roles, ideally within hospitality.
  • A proven track record of delivering revenue growth, closing strategic accounts and building influential industry networks.
  • Passionate about radically seasonal produce and aligned with Natoora’s mission to fix the food system.
  • Highly organised, strategic and able to balance long-term planning with fast, tactical execution.
  • Persistent, proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to remain composed and effective even under pressure.
  • An authentic, relationship-driven communicator with strong emotional intelligence; you’ll be able to adapt to a wide spectrum of kitchen cultures and engage with chefs and key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong data literacy: confident analysing financial and sales data to inform strategy and prioritisation.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Tableau or similar tools and CRM systems is a significant advantage.
  • Fluent in English; Danish language is also a strong plus.
